The Solar Hot Water Heat Exchanger (SHE) model is a real energy miser.
The SHE is the only roof mounted evacuated tube solar hot water system available that can be connected to the wetback on a slow combustion wood fired heater or oven. This system offers another resource by enabling you to capture and use excess heat energy from your slow combustion fire and directing this energy to boost the water temperature inside the storage cylinder giving you more independence from electric and gas boosting than any other solar hot water system!
This is a real bonus on those cold, dark, wet days and is a standard feature on the 100, 200 and 300 litre SHE models.Â
High quality stainless steel adaptor flue kits are also available to boost hot water if you don't have a 'wetback' on your slow combustion heater.Â
